Mystery illness suffered by US diplomats in Cuba was most likely caused by directed microwave radiation, a US government report has found.
The report by the National Academies of Sciences does not attribute blame for the directed energy waves.
But it said research into the effects of pulsed radio frequency energy was carried out by the Soviet Union more than 50 years ago.
The illnesses first affected people at the US embassy in Havana in 2016-17.
Staff and some of their relatives complained of symptoms ranging from dizziness, loss of balance, hearing loss, anxiety and something they described as “cognitive fog”. It became known as “Havana syndrome”.

More than 400 lawmakers from 34 countries have signed a letter to Amazon.com Inc boss Jeff Bezos backing a campaign that claims the tech giant has “dodged and dismissed … debts to workers, societies, and the planet,” organisers said.
The “Make Amazon Pay” campaign was launched on Nov. 27 – the annual Black Friday shopping bonanza – by a coalition of over 50 organisations, with demands including improvements to working conditions and full tax transparency.
The letter’s signatories include U.S. Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, former UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and Vice President of the European Parliament Heidi Hautala, co-convenors Progressive International and UNI Global Union said.
“We urge you to act decisively to change your policies and priorities to do right by your workers, their communities, and our planet,” the letter said.

The lawsuit concerns Facebook’s use of temporary H-1B visas, which are often used by tech companies to bring highly skilled foreign workers to the US.
In its lawsuit, filed on Thursday, the department alleged that Facebook “intentionally created a hiring system” that favoured H-1B visa holders and other temporary workers over Americans.

A recent report from CNBC states that sources believe that a lawsuit could be filed against social media giant Facebook as early as next week.
A group of 40 states led by New York have been investigating Facebook for possible antitrust violations and plans to file a lawsuit against the company, according to four sources.
The lawsuit would be the second major case taken against a major tech firm this year following the Justice Department’s lawsuit against Google in October.
Over 40 states reportedly plan to sign on to the Facebook lawsuit one source said, but would not provide the list of states.
Authorities were preparing as many as four more cases targeting Google or Facebook by the end of January 2021.
The lawsuits reportedly focus on whether the tech giant abused their power.

Something has gone seriously wrong in the UK, when the police take it upon themselves to intimidate a 14 year-old schoolgirl by making an official record of her innocuous statement in class.
The girl, known only as Miss B, became a target of police interest because she, along with millions of other people, took the view that sex is distinct from gender identity.
At a time when it is increasingly verboten to question trans ideology’s claims on the subjectivity of both sex and gender identity, Miss B’s views are too often condemned as hatred.
Miss B, who has indicated that she is ‘frightened about speaking openly on transgender issues’ is – along with her parents – seeking legal recourse and challenging the decision of the police to classify her comment as a non-crime hate incident.
Her lawyers’ letter to the College of Policing states that Miss B is ‘concerned about the possibility of having a police record potentially including details of conversations that she has had at school’ and fears ‘this record would impact on her future career prospects.’
What is totally absurd about the predicament Miss B finds herself in, is that she neither demonstrated nor had any intention of demonstrating hostility towards any person.
In fact, even the police have not claimed that Miss B hurt the feelings of anyone, she has not done nor said anything hurtful to a single individual.
In fact, there is no victim of her action whatsoever, yet still the police involved themselves.
Under existing policing guidelines on hate, you do not need to have done anything remotely hurtful to be made to feel like a criminal.
According to these guidelines, officers should make a record of a non-crime hate incident ‘if the victim or any other person perceives that the incident was motivated wholly or partially by hostility, even if it is referred to a partner to respond.’
In this case it is evident that it was the police, or some other busy-body official, who thought Miss B’s comment might be motivated by hostility.
What is truly bizarre about these guidelines is that they empower the police to record not only criminal acts but non-criminal acts as well.

Phase 5 is 65 and over, Phase 6 is aged 16-64 with underlying health conditions.

So all the older people who I might add they have spent their pension money and cannot afford to pay them within the next decade is, designated to go first.

Corona virus had been infecting people in the US even before China reported its first cases on December 31, 2019, research by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Red Cross has revealed.
American medics officially registered their first Covid-19 patient on January 19, 2020, but the findings in a paper published in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases suggest the virus may have been circulating in the US prior to that.
The researchers studied almost 7,400 blood donations made in nine US states between December 13, 2019 and January 17, 2020. Evidence of Covid-19 bodies antibodies, the presence of which suggest a person had contact with the virus, were present in 106 of those samples, according to the study.
This means corona virus could have been in the US a month before it saw its first confirmed case, and weeks before the Chinese authorities announced the infection in the city of Wuhan. oops
The analysis of hospital data from across the US in late 2019 also showed a spike in flu patients, many of whom had “heavy coughing” and other severe respiratory symptoms.
European researchers have also speculated that corona virus had been present in their countries before China officially announced the outbreak of the new strain.
A French survey has discovered there were Covid-19 antibodies in blood samples taken in early December 2019.
A similar study carried out by their Italian peers revealed that samples in Italy were already showing antibodies in September.
Spanish virologists, meanwhile, found traces of corona virus in sewage water samples collected in March 2019 – a full nine month before the events in Wuhan.
The precise origins of corona virus are currently unknown, despite Donald Trump’s attempts to blame it on China since the start of the pandemic.

The UK government has granted pharmaceutical giant Pfizer a legal indemnity protecting it from being sued, enabling its coronavirus vaccine to be rolled out across the country as early as next week.
The Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed the company has been given an indemnity protecting it from legal action as a result of any problems with the vaccine.
NHS staff providing the vaccine, as well as manufacturers of the drug, are also protected.
The vaccine will be made available to anyone over the age of 16, but will not be available to pregnant women because of the lack of data about how it could affect them and the baby. An ongoing trial is looking at this.
“There’s a lack of data overall, that’s why the vaccine needed to be granted ’emergency authorization’.”
The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine was authorised by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency on Tuesday, under regulation 174 of the Human Medicine Regulations 2012, which allows an “unlicensed medication” to be used in an emergency such as a pandemic.

Things they say that make you go hmm part 6: At least six people – including five coronavirus patients – have died in a hospital in Pakistan after oxygen supplies ran too low.
Patients’ relatives have described how they begged for help as panic engulfed the government-run hospital in the northern city of Peshawar.
A reported delay in deliveries meant more than 200 patients were left for hours on reduced oxygen.
Hospital officials have blamed the shortage on the supply company.
Pakistan is currently fighting a new wave of corona virus cases, with a total of more then 400,000 infections and over 8,000 deaths reported since the start of the outbreak.
According to local media, the problems at Khyber Teaching Hospital began after the daily supply of fresh oxygen cylinders did not arrive on Saturday evening.
The 300 backup cylinders were then unable to supply the required pressure for the ventilators.
Mureed Ali, whose mother is ill with Covid-19, told BBC Urdu that “throughout the hospital, we were running to save our patients, begging the medical staff”.
He explained that some patients were eventually moved to the emergency room, where there was still a good oxygen supply.
But after those supplies ran low as well, several patients died, while many others deteriorated into critical condition.
So, patients died due to reduced oxygen levels, and the fake covid death rates went up after people started wearing masks which reduce oxygen levels, well I never.
I have 3 nurses in my family here in the Phoenix area. None of them have seen a COVID patient. That’s because out of 32 hospitals in the Banner Hospital network only a handful accept covid patients. (Same is true in CA where another family member nurse works.)
The 3 different hospitals that they work in do not accept them. So when the news is telling you that the hospitals are at full capacity with covid patients it leads you to believe that all hospitals are over crowded. Not true.
Also one of them tested positive and could not work for 2 weeks. He had NO symptoms but the hospital kept him out anyway. How many are counted in this category? They want you to think all covid patients are dying in the hospital. What a scam.

Iran will not accept preconditions from a new Biden administration over its nuclear programme and the US must return to a 2015 deal before talks can take place, its foreign minister says.
Javad Zarif said the US had its own “commitments” that must be implemented.
President-elect Joe Biden has said he will rejoin the nuclear deal and lift sanctions if Tehran returns to “strict compliance with the nuclear deal”.
Both sides appear to want the other to readopt the agreement’s terms first.
In May 2018, US President Donald Trump pulled out of the deal negotiated under his predecessor, Barack Obama.
He then reimposed strict economic sanctions against Iran, targeting the country’s oil and financial sectors.
Tehran has since exceeded limits to its nuclear activities set under the deal, raising suspicions that it could be using the programme as a cover to develop a nuclear bomb.
Its government insists, however, that its nuclear ambitions are entirely peaceful. The deal was designed to constrain the programme in a verifiable way in return for sanctions relief.
Addressing a virtual conference hosted by Italy on Thursday, Mr Zarif said the US had been “in grave breach” of a UN resolution endorsing the nuclear deal when it abandoned it, describing the Trump administration as “a rogue regime”.
“The United States must stop, the United States must cease its violations of international law,” he said. “It doesn’t require any negotiations.”
Mr Zarif went on to say that the US was “not in a position to set conditions”.

If the hour glass represents only a constant one way movement of time, what happens when you tip that hour glass upside down? does time go backwards? I know common sense again, but that ends that illusion of a constant one way movement of time.
The representation of the tipped upside down hour glass is a description of an Earth based event of pole flips, North becomes South and East becomes West.
China and Russia become North America region, and Australia and New Zealand become top of the world, but what is up and what is down? essentially there is no up or down it depends on your orientation of standing and objects.
Australia and New Zealand are described as Down Under, has anyone asked what are they down under from? are they beneath the surface of something? is Australia and New Zealand in a giant cave?
Why describe it as down which means below something, and under which also means below something, the question is what are they beneath?
As above so below springs to mind, but what is above and what is below? is the great question.
Surely above and below have no real concept, as it is indicative of where and how you stand and your perspective from that particular vantage point.
Ok Thomas now your getting too technical, but if you approach Earth from a space craft from the north pole, Australia would appear as the top of the world, not down under.
So, your perception then becomes different from the differing vantage points of observation, does it not.
The sky is up above us, but the sky is also below us, we just can’t see it as it is below the horizon, look at the words below the horizon, the original version of horizon was to circle or bind.
So the sky is not up or down but all around us, just like the Universes, just like the dimensions, just like the planes of reality.
They are neither up or down but around us.

Time’s constant one-way movement, and more generally and abstractly, entropy, the description said.

Lets look at this line, entropy of isolated systems left to spontaneous evolution cannot decrease with time, so what they state is the randomness or disorder of evolution cannot decrease with time in an isolated system.
And yet we are told this evolution was not done out of randomness or disorder, but was created by a god over time, which is contrary to scientific conclusions, more so in an isolated system.
But what if Earth was in an isolated system, and that system is governed by time?
