The healthcare company said Thursday that a corporate affiliate holding talc-related liabilities had filed for chapter 11 protection, to resolve all claims related to cosmetic talc in a manner that is equitable to all parties, including any current and future claimants.
The chapter 11 filing makes J&J the latest company to turn to chapter 11, as a mechanism to settle large numbers of lawsuits over defective products or other harms.
Victims’ lawyers had criticized J&J for exploring a bankruptcy over talc, saying that chapter 11 wasn’t meant to help healthy companies avoid accountability.

The Bank of Thailand and Thai Bankers’ Association issued a joint statement on Sunday, saying banks would accept responsibility for the debts fraudulently accrued by customers.
The statement said no commercial banks’ systems had been hacked.
The irregular transactions were for payment to online shops registered outside Thailand.
The money was withdrawn through credit and debit cards.
The cardholders did not buy goods online from those shops, and were not alerted to the withdrawals.

The number of victims remained unclear but the Facebook sharing experience account had more than 57,000 followers on Monday, with the number increasing.

A University of Chicago professor whose guest lecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), was called off amid outrage from campus activist groups was switched to being hosted by Princeton University, where thousands have already registered to hear the canceled speech.
The associate geophysics professor, Dorian Abbot, said activists and MIT academics were outraged by comments he made in an August Newsweek opinion piece, wherein he criticized current diversity, equity, and inclusion standards in higher education.

In the piece, Abbot proposed an alternative framework called Merit, Fairness, and Equality, whereby university applicants are treated as individuals, and evaluated through rigorous and unbiased processes based on merit and qualifications.
The professor also characterized the current diversity standards as treating people as members of a group rather than as individuals, repeating the mistake that made possible the atrocities of the 20th century.
An MIT spokesperson told The New York Post in a statement that the lecture on climate science and life on other planets, hosted by the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, wasn’t being held this year at the discretion of the department.
Princeton opted to take the reins and host Abbot’s lecture remotely on October 21, the very same day it was scheduled to take place at MIT.
A Princeton professor, Robert P. George, said in a Sunday tweet that the Zoom quota for the lecture had already been expanded, to accommodate more attendees after the web conference limit was reached.
One University of Chicago student attending the lecture, Audrey Unverferth, said that she was excited to attend the revived lecture, and called the professor extraordinarily brave for leading the charge against the cancel mob.

Born in Ukraine in 1979, Hutchins grew up on a Soviet military base in the Arctic Circle.
She attended Kyiv National University and graduated with a degree in international journalism.
In her first career, she worked as an investigative journalist for British documentary productions in Eastern Europe.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department said Hutchins and the film’s director, Joel Souza, were shot when the prop gun was discharged by Baldwin.
Hutchins was flown by helicopter to the University of New Mexico Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Souza was hospitalized in critical condition.

Turkey’s intelligence agency reportedly cracked a Mossad spy ring in an operation earlier this month, exposing five cells and arresting 15 men suspected of conducting covert activities on foreign students and Palestinians.

According to the Sabah daily newspaper, a 200-strong team raided the cells in a secret operation across four provinces on October 7.

The spies were also allegedly tasked with looking into a number of other unspecified associations, and organizations that hosted Palestinians in Turkey.
The network apparently used this information to put together profiles on individuals, which were then relayed to Mossad officials, through end-to-end encryption programs like ProtonMail and SafeUM, a software that generates fake phone numbers.
They also communicated through WhatsApp.
As compensation, the suspected agents were transferred payments via Western Union, Moneygram, and even Bitcoin in some cases, the paper said.

A huge leak of documents seen by BBC News shows how countries are trying to change a crucial scientific report on how to tackle climate change.
The leak reveals Saudi Arabia, Japan and Australia are among countries asking the UN, to play down the need to move rapidly away from fossil fuels.

This lobbying raises questions for the COP26 climate summit in November.
The leak reveals countries pushing back on UN recommendations for action, and comes just days before they will be asked at the summit to make significant commitments, to slow down climate change and keep global warming to 1.5 degrees.

Weeks after initial reports emerged that China had an interest in using Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, a new spate of reports have emerged on social media, which means the agencies have been inserting stories again, indicating that activity at the former U.S. base could indicate that China is moving forward with that plan.
In early September, U.S. News and World Report said China was interested in using the base, which was abandoned by the U.S. weeks before the military’s final departure from Afghanistan.
The base had been the largest American-run facility in Afghanistan.
Multiple military assets given to Afghanistan by the United States were taken when the Taliban overran the base.
The report said China was assessing the feasibility of using the base as a forward outpost, later prompting official denials from the Chinese government.
On Sunday journalist Tajuden Soroush of the London-based Iran International, an Iranian opposition outlet, tweeted that activity at the base is giving new life to the idea that China is moving in.
Sources in Bagram say they have seen military planes are landing at Bagram airbase.

Their immune system is deteriorating by about 5% per week (between 2.7% and 8.7%).
If this continues, 30-50 year olds will have a 100% breakdown of their immune system by Christmas, with no defence against viruses, and all doubly vaccinated people over 30 will have lost their immune system by March next year.
I suspect we may all have to prepare ourselves of this coming period, it may well be a very dark winter for us all, the key is to observe not absorb.

An investigation of official ONS data has revealed, that since the Covid-19 vaccine was offered and administered to teenagers in England and Wales there has been a significant rise in deaths among teens, against the five-year-average with some weeks seeing an increase as high as 125%.
For children 12 to 15 years of age, the extremely short and small Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine clinical trial found the overall incidence of severe adverse events which left the children unable to perform daily activities, during the two-month observation period to be 10.7%, or 1 in 9, in the vaccinated group and 1.9% in the unvaccinated group.
Consequently, children who received the vaccine had nearly six times the risk of a severe adverse event occurring in the two-month observation period, compared to children who did not receive the vaccine.
In addition, the incidence of Covid-19 in the unvaccinated group was 1.6%, therefore, there were almost seven times more severe adverse events observed in the vaccinated group, than there were Covid-19 cases in the unvaccinated group.
To those of us who are not versed in Johns Hopkins or common core maths, would say that was pretty conclusive evidence of failed vaccines at best, and sinister intentions at worst.

The premier could literally say it Tuesday and all people born on the 3rd day of October need to report to their nearest hospital to donate a kidney.

There are four additional costs to powering EVs beyond electricity.
The cost of home charger, commercial charging, the EV tax and “deadhead” miles.
Deadhead miles: EV drivers incur costs of driving miles to a commercial charger for the sole purpose of charging, due to the lack of electric charging stations.
For the example set in Michigan, the direct monetary costs to drive 100 miles in an ICE vehicle is between $8 and $12, and in an EV is between $12 and $15.
For now, EVs cost more to power than gasoline costs, to fuel an internal combustion car that gets reasonable gas mileage.
In Michigan, for example, levies an additional registration cost between $135 and $235 for most electric vehicles.
How is that encouraging anyone to switch by increasing the registration costs, yet again ass backwards bureaucracy and non thinking.
There are significant time costs to finding reliable public chargers, even then a charger could take 30 minutes to go from 20% to an 80% charge.
The study found that the average cost of a Level 1 charger is $600.
To install a Level 2 costs $1,600 because it requires hiring an electrician.
An L1 charger uses a 120-volt supply of electricity and can take 20 or more hours to charge, whereas an L2 chargers uses 240 volts and can charge in a few hours.
You typically have to go to a commercial charger and commercial charger rates are two, three or four times that of residential charger rates.
Again some people have taken advantage at what would be around 15-25c per KWh for home charging, these stations are charging at around 30-43c per KWh’s, which can rise with additional charges of time of use, to 33-66c per Kwh.

Facebook has just announced it’s going to hire 10,000 people in Europe to develop the metaverse.
This is a concept which is being talked up by some as the future of the internet.
But what exactly is it? What is the metaverse?
To the outsider, it may look like a souped-up version of Virtual Reality, but some people think the metaverse could be the future of the internet.
In fact, the belief is that it could be to VR, what the modern smart phone is to the first clunky mobile phones of the 1980s.
Instead of being on a computer, in the metaverse you might use a headset to enter a virtual world connecting all sorts of digital environments.
Unlike current VR, which is mostly used for gaming, this virtual world could be used for practically anything, work, play, concerts, cinema trips or just hanging out.
Common sense question is, why would need or want to do any of them when you can go and do them in the real world.
Most people envision that you would have a 3D avatar, a representation of yourself as you use it.
Just what we needed more split personality and alters people in the world, how about we integrate ourselves instead of splitting everything.
But because it’s still just an idea, there’s no single agreed definition of the metaverse.
It is not just an idea, they have had it a while and waiting for the stupid public to request or demand it.
There is a huge amount of excitement about the metaverse among wealthy investors and big tech firms.
Well that should tell you right there, it will not be good for we the people.
Facebook claims the metaverse won’t be built overnight by a single company and has promised to collaborate.
It has recently invested $50m (£36.3m) in funding non-profit groups to help build the metaverse responsibly.
But it thinks the true metaverse idea will take another 10 to 15 years.
I would reverse that and suggest they have had 10 to 15 years.
In recent years Fortnite expanded its product, hosting concerts, brand events, and more inside its own digital world.
Roblox, for example, is a platform for thousands of individual games connected to the larger ecosystem.
Meanwhile, Unity, a 3D development platform, is investing in digital twins, digital copies of the real world.
The graphics company Nvidia is building its Omniverse, which it describes as a platform for connecting 3D virtual worlds.
Mr Sweeney recently told the Washington Post that he envisions a world where a car manufacturer trying to advertise a new model is, going to drop their car into the world in real time and you’ll be able to drive it around.
Perhaps when you go online shopping, you’ll try on digital clothes first, and then order them to arrive in the real world.
VR has come a long way in recent years, with high-end headsets which can trick the human eye into seeing in 3D as the player moves around a virtual world.

We have spoken in the past about missing time, or time anomalies in particular a thousand year one.
I mentioned in another show about 300 years appearing to be missing from the date, between 700 and 1000,
because I saw a lack of history recorded for those dates.
Then around 18 months ago, German researchers obviously spotted the same and did a paper on it, kind of proving the missing 300 years.
But now a new photograph has come to light in Italy, surrounding the Galleria Umberto I in Naples.
A picture of the gallery taken in 1890 had the letters ANNO DCCCXC, which means it was built in 890.
But his story rewriters have since 1890 placed an M before the DCCCXC, which now signifies it was built in 1890, not 890.
Like the temple in Salt Lake city, if you think Mormons built that, you seriously need to check their history.
The roof had a dome placed upon it around 1890 when it was stated to have been built, and yet no drawings, photographs exist of it being built, or indeed who built it.

NATO is developing new forms of warfare to wage a battle for the brain, as the military alliance put it.
The US-led NATO military cartel has tested novel modes of hybrid warfare against its self-declared adversaries, including economic warfare, cyber warfare, information warfare, and psychological warfare.
Now, NATO is spinning out an entirely new kind of combat it has branded cognitive warfare.
Described as the weaponization of brain sciences, the new method involves hacking the individual by exploiting the vulnerabilities of the human brain, in order to implement more sophisticated social engineering.
This proves what I have said for a while now, they can manipulate your brain, but the antidote to that is, improving the self and developing the sword of self mastery and then you operate from the heart.
The heart is not as susceptible or possibly unable to be manipulated in that mode.
Until recently, NATO had divided war into five different operational domains: air, land, sea, space, and cyber.
But with its development of cognitive warfare strategies, the military alliance is discussing a new, sixth level: the human domain.
Which reveals interesting analysis, given they have controlled humans for a long time, are they saying there is too many of us who they can’t control? is it the 15%?
Why would fellow humans target other humans in this manner? are they revealing their off world programs and or presence?
Why would you need to control on this level? the simple answer is fear, aligned with weakness.
A 2020 NATO-sponsored study of this new form of warfare clearly explained, while actions taken in the five domains are executed in order to have an effect on the human domain, cognitive warfare’s objective is to make everyone a weapon.
NATO are an anagram of Aton, and are revealing in this piece who their masters are, which is why they are targeting humans.
The brain will be the battlefield of the 21st century, the report stressed.
Humans are the contested domain, and future conflicts will likely occur amongst the people digitally first and physically thereafter, in proximity to hubs of political and economic power.
And what might we ask are the Council and their Ambassador doing to stop this, given it is in direct violation of the peace treaty.

While the NATO-backed study insisted that much of its research on cognitive warfare is designed for defensive purposes, it also conceded that the military alliance is developing offensive tactics, stating, the human is very often the main vulnerability and it should be acknowledged in order to protect NATO’s human capital, but also to be able to benefit from our adversaries vulnerabilities.
In a chilling disclosure, the report said explicitly that the objective of Cognitive Warfare is to harm societies and not only the military.
With entire civilian populations in NATO’s crosshairs, the report emphasized that Western militaries must work more closely with academia, to weaponize social sciences and human sciences, and help the alliance develop its cognitive warfare capacities.
Remember the Cobra, Q and others speaking of the Alliance? this is the Alliance they speak of, same program, same hidden people, except no longer a hidden agenda now.
This brings in the Ashtray Command crew also, along with the savior based Pleiadian’s and the Alcyone’s Cobra represents.
The study described this phenomenon as the militarization of brain science.
But it appears clear that NATO’s development of cognitive warfare, will lead to a militarization of all aspects of human society and psychology, from the most intimate of social relationships to the mind itself.
Such all-encompassing militarization of society is reflected in the paranoid tone of the NATO-sponsored report, which warned of an embedded fifth column, where everyone, unbeknownst to him or her, is behaving according to the plans of one of our competitors.
The term fifth column is, any group of people who undermine a larger group from within, usually in favor of an enemy group or nation.
The activities of a fifth column can be overt or clandestine.
Forces gathered in secret can mobilize openly to assist an external attack.
This term is also extended to organized actions by military personnel.
Clandestine fifth column activities can involve acts of sabotage, disinformation, or espionage executed within defense lines by secret sympathizers with an external force.
I will reveal who the real fifth column is, the Hebrew Annunaki, go and deal with them instead of meddling with the public.
The study makes it clear that those competitors purportedly exploiting the consciousness of Western dissidents are China and Russia.

NATO’s development of novel forms of hybrid warfare come at a time when member states’ military campaigns, are targeting domestic populations on an unprecedented level.
There is the use of that term again, novel, novel forms of hybrid warfare, who are the hybrids? and is the novel corona virus connected?
The Ottawa Citizen reported this September that the Canadian military’s Joint Operations Command took advantage of the Covid-19 pandemic, to wage an information war against its own domestic population, testing out propaganda tactics on Canadian civilians.
Internal NATO-sponsored reports suggest that this disclosure is just scratching the surface, of a wave of new unconventional warfare techniques that Western militaries are employing around the world.
The October 5 panel kicked off with François du Cluzel, a former French military officer who in 2013 helped to create the NATO Innovation Hub, which he has since then managed from its base in Norfolk, Virginia.
What a surprise they operate out of Norfolk Virginia, just like the guy who wrote the Open Source Handbook for NATO, Robert David Steele.
Although the iHub insists on its website, for legal reasons, that the opinions expressed on this platform don’t constitute NATO or any other organization points of view, the organization is sponsored by the Allied Command Transformation (ACT), described as one of two Strategic Commands at the head of NATO’s military command structure.
The Innovation Hub, therefore, acts as a kind of in-house NATO research center or think tank.
Just like the CIA with it’s in house subsidiary companies and private contractors groups.
Its research is not necessarily official NATO policy, but it is directly supported and overseen by NATO.
In 2020, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT) tasked du Cluzel, as manager of the iHub, to conduct a six-month study on cognitive warfare.
I don’t know what cognitive warfare, but resembles more of cognitive dissonance to me.
The psychological tension that occurs when one holds mutually exclusive beliefs or attitudes, and that often motivates people to modify their thoughts or behaviors in order to reduce the tension.
Du Cluzel summarized his research in the panel this October.
He initiated his remarks noting that cognitive warfare right now is one of the hottest topics for NATO, and has become a recurring term in military terminology in recent years.
Although French, Du Cluzel emphasized that cognitive warfare strategy is being currently developed by my command here in Norfolk, USA.
The NATO Innovation Hub manager spoke with a PowerPoint presentation, and opened with a provocative slide that described cognitive warfare as A Battle for the Brain.
Cognitive warfare is a new concept that starts in the information sphere, that is a kind of hybrid warfare, du Cluzel said.
It starts with hyper-connectivity, everyone has a cell phone, he said.
It starts with information because information is, if I may say, the fuel of cognitive warfare.
But it goes way beyond solely information, which is a standalone operation, information warfare is a standalone operation.
Cognitive warfare overlaps with Big Tech corporations and mass surveillance, because it’s all about leveraging the big data, du Cluzel explained.
We produce data everywhere we go, every minute, every second we go, we go online, and this is extremely easy to leverage those data in order to better know you and use that knowledge to change the way you think.
All about harvesting every facet of life with these people, everything is up for grabs and marketable and manipulable for the vampiric parasites.
Naturally, the NATO researcher claimed foreign adversaries are the supposed aggressors employing cognitive warfare.
But at the same time, he made it clear that the Western military alliance is developing its own tactics.
Du Cluzel defined cognitive warfare as the art of using technologies to alter the cognition of human targets.
Yet again there is the propensity in these types of documents to mention the targets as humans, why define it in those terms? is it saying those targeting humans are not human?

But today we know Chrystia Freeland as Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
Ms. Freeland’s ties to Ukraine are no secret, but materials uncovered from the KGB archives in Kyiv, illuminate her role in the Ukrainian independence movement while on exchange there from Harvard University.
In the former Soviet republic, now Moscow’s antagonist, access to information on the communist period is guaranteed, both as part of reckoning with Ukraine’s past and explicitly as a rebuke to Russia, which is seeking once again to impose itself on the country.
The materials show what drew the Soviet intelligence services’ attention to the then-troublesome young Canadian, who was the subject of denouncements in the Soviet press and even warranted a feature in top-secret KGB documents.
In articles bearing titles like Abuse of Hospitality, Soviet newspapers publicly lambasted the Canadian visitor, for recklessly meddling in the Soviet Union’s affairs with malice aforethought.
What business, the Kyiv newspaper Pravda Ukrainy asked, did someone from Edmonton have leading a civic organization for the preservation of the Ukrainian language in Ukraine?
Why did someone in Ukraine to study the Ukrainian language spend so little time doing so at the university sponsoring her visit.

But she is unique in having become a top-secret published case study for the KGB in just how much damage one determined foreigner could do to the USSR as they knew it.
She did no damage to the Soviet Union at all, she was the original type of dataminer, that predated the computer variety.
The Soviet Union’s state media tended to adopt a breathless style when exposing what, it saw as the wicked machinations of foreigners such as Ms. Freeland.
However, the KGB’s Colonel A. Stroi, based in Kyiv, dispensed with the feigned indignance in his report on the woman giving him so much grief in the pages of Sbornik KGB USSR, the KGB’s top-secret, in-house journal.
Ms. Freeland, and her ilk, were a threat to the Soviet Union, but one which had to be handled delicately.
Treating her too harshly could give credence to the libelous stories told in Ukrainian émigré communities, about how the KGB treated national minorities in the Soviet Union.
They are trying to make her out as some sort of saint, yet her type are ten a penny, just another story teller for the NATO goons to throw mud at Russia.
According to the KGB, Ms. Freeland was more than just an agitator for, as Col. Stroi derisively put it, the liberation of Ukraine who coerced Soviet citizens into staging marches and rallies to attract Western support.
She delivered cash, video and audio-recording equipment, and even a personal computer to her contacts in Ukraine.
All of which came from her paymasters to instigate trouble, it is what the agency people do, and clearly she worked for one or more of them.
All of this took place under the watchful eye of the KGB, which surveilled Ms. Freeland.
Its officers tailed her wherever she went, tapped her phone calls to Ukrainians abroad, bugged her accommodation, read her mail, and had an informer, codenamed Slav, insert himself into Ms. Freeland’s circle and gain the young Canadian’s trust.
But Ms. Freeland knew the rules of the road.
She used a Canadian diplomat at the embassy in Moscow, known to the KGB as Bison and suspected of being a spy, to send material abroad in a diplomatic pouch that could not be intercepted or read.
She increasingly avoided major gatherings, lest her participation draw too much attention to her.
All of which reveals this was a major operation, she was the front person lackey.
The Soviet secret police’s subtler attempts to curtail her activities failed.
Her teacher at Kyiv’s Taras Shevchenko University, on the KGB’s orders, increased her workload.
But the student, ostensibly on a visa to study Ukrainian, was so fluent that she did not need to attend class in the first place in order to make grades, much to the KGB’s chagrin.
Instead, she spent her time traversing Ukraine, purporting to visit far flung family members, but in fact working as a fixer for visiting journalists from Canada, Britain and the United States.
For example taking a BBC film crew to Lviv to meet leaders in the Ukrainian Catholic Church, which means she was working with MI5 and 6.
Countless tendentious news stories about life in the Soviet Union, especially for its non-Russian citizens, had her fingerprints as Ms. Freeland set about making a name for herself in journalistic circles with an eye to her future career prospects.
Col. Stroi certainly objected to what Ms. Freeland was doing in Ukraine, but the KGB officer could not help but be impressed.
She was a remarkable individual with an analytical mindset.
The young Canadian was erudite, sociable, persistent, and inventive in achieving her goals, nefarious as they may have been in the eyes of Soviet intelligence.
The student causing so many headaches clearly loathed the Soviet Union, but she knew its laws inside and out, and how to use them to her advantage.
She skillfully hid her actions, avoided surveillance and shared that knowledge with her Ukrainian contacts, and expertly trafficked in misinformation.
The conclusion is inescapable, Chrystia Freeland, this KGB officer was saying, would have made an excellent spy herself.
I guess that KGB officer was being sarcastic in his summation.
Ms. Freeland’s time in the Soviet Union came to an end when customs agents at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport, tipped off by the KGB, searched her luggage as she returned from a trip to London and found anti-Soviet materials.
Even more worrying, they discovered a veritable how to guide for running an election destined for use by, non-Communist Party candidates campaigning for Ukrainian independence in the Soviet Union’s first-ever free elections.

She was denied re-entry on March 31, 1989.
